Upgrading or Downgrading Your Plan

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to SettingsBilling.
  2. Click Upgrade Plan.
  3. Select Pro or Agency.
  4. Enter payment details (credit card).
  5. Click Subscribe.
  6. Your account upgrades immediately.
  7. Pro and Agency features become available instantly.

How to Downgrade

  1. Go to SettingsBilling.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select a lower-tier plan.
  4. Confirm downgrade.
  5. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  6. Premium features remain available until billing cycle ends.

What Happens When You Change Plans

  • Upgrading: New features available immediately; prorated billing applies
  • Downgrading: Premium features remain until billing cycle ends; then revert to new plan limits
  • Documents: Existing documents remain accessible regardless of plan changes
  • Templates: All templates remain accessible (unlimited on all plans)
  • Teams: Downgrading from Agency removes team member access

Trial Periods and Special Offers

BreezeDoc may offer trial periods for Pro and Agency plans. Check your account settings or contact support for current promotions.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Reached monthly document limit

Fix: Check your usage in SettingsAccount. Upgrade to Pro (20 docs) or Agency (unlimited) for more capacity. Your limit resets on the 1st of each month.

Issue: Cannot access Pro features on Free plan

Fix: Features like reminders, API access, and custom emails require Pro or Agency plans. Upgrade to access these features.

Issue: Team members cannot access documents (Agency)

Fix: Ensure team members have been invited and accepted invitations. Check team member roles (Viewer, Editor, Owner) to ensure proper permissions.

FAQ

Q: Can I upgrade mid-month?

A: Yes, upgrades apply immediately with prorated billing. You are charged the difference for the remaining days in the billing cycle.

Q: What happens to my documents if I downgrade?

A: All existing documents remain accessible. However, you cannot create new documents beyond your new plan's monthly limit.

Q: Are there any hidden fees?

A: No. The listed prices are the complete monthly costs. Payment processing fees (Stripe/PayPal) apply only to invoicing features.

Q: Can I cancel anytime?

A: Yes, you can cancel your Pro or Agency subscription anytime. Your plan remains active until the end of your billing cycle, then reverts to Free.
