What Is Meta Pixel Integration?

- Track form views as PageView events in Meta Business Manager
- Monitor conversion rates from your Facebook/Instagram ads
- Build custom audiences based on form visitors
- Optimize ad campaigns using form engagement data
- Create retargeting campaigns for people who viewed your forms
Plan Requirement: Meta Pixel integration is available on the Individual Tier plan only.
Prerequisites
- FormRobin Plan: Individual Tier (Tier 1 or higher)
- Meta Business Account: Active Facebook Business Manager account

Limitations
- Free Plan users cannot access Meta Pixel integration. The settings page will show an upgrade prompt.
- One Pixel per account: You can only connect one Meta Pixel ID to your FormRobin account
- All forms tracked: The same Pixel is used across all your forms (no per-form Pixel configuration)
- PageView events only: Currently, FormRobin tracks standard PageView events (not custom conversion events)
- No form-specific events: Form submissions are tracked as PageViews, not as separate conversion events
Troubleshooting
Issue: I can't see the Meta Pixel settings page.
Fix: Meta Pixel integration requires the Individual Tier plan. Free Plan users cannot access this feature. Check your plan in Account Settings and upgrade to Individual Tier to unlock Meta Pixel integration.
Issue: Error: "Meta Pixel ID must contain only numbers."
Fix: Your Pixel ID should be numbers only, with no letters, dashes, or special characters. Copy just the numeric ID from Facebook Events Manager (e.g., "1234567890123456").
Issue: Error: "Meta Pixel is only available for Individual (Tier 1) and Agency (Tier 2) plans."
Fix: This error appears when Free Plan users try to save a Pixel ID. Upgrade to the Individual Tier plan to use Meta Pixel integration.
Issue: Meta Pixel Helper shows "No pixels found."
Fix: Verify you saved your Pixel ID correctly in FormRobin Settings. Clear your browser cache and reload the form. Check that your Pixel ID is correct by comparing it to the ID in Facebook Events Manager.
Issue: Events aren't showing in Facebook Events Manager.
Fix: Allow up to 20 minutes for events to appear in standard reporting (Test Events shows them immediately). Verify your Pixel is active in Events Manager. Check that your Pixel ID in FormRobin matches the ID in Facebook.
Issue: Can I track form submissions as conversions?
Fix: Currently, FormRobin tracks PageView events only. To track submissions as conversions, you can set up a custom redirect to a "thank you" page and add Meta Pixel conversion tracking there, or use Facebook's auto-advanced matching features.
FAQ
Q: Can I use different Pixels for different forms?
A: No. FormRobin currently supports one Meta Pixel per account. The same Pixel is used across all your forms.
Q: Will the Pixel work on embedded forms?
A: Yes. When you embed your FormRobin forms on external websites, the Meta Pixel code is included and will track PageView events.
Q: Can I track form submissions as conversion events?
A: Currently, only PageView events are tracked. For submission tracking, consider using custom post-submission redirects to a thank you page with your own conversion tracking code.
Q: Does Meta Pixel slow down my forms?
A: The Meta Pixel code loads asynchronously and should not noticeably impact form loading speed. It's the same standard Pixel code used by millions of websites.
Q: What if I delete my Pixel from Facebook?
A: If you delete or deactivate your Pixel in Facebook Business Manager, the code will still load on your forms but won't send data. Update or remove the Pixel ID in FormRobin Settings to stop loading the code.
